Description
End of an era for me and my 1993 Yzf750R which is now for sale.
Genuine reason.. simply need garage space for a new project.
Located UK, North Yorkshire
12 months MOT, 28k plus on the clock verified by a wealth of service history.
The good...
Everything works - exup, temp gauge, fuel pump, reserve switch, lights, cooling fans, all 12 brake pistons inc rear brake too
Regular oil and filter changes
Pirelli Supercorsa rubber, plenty left
Hyperpro rear shock - very adjustable, great upgrade improvement over standard
3 owners - me since 2016, V5 in my name
A comprehensive and total going over by a pro race tech less than a 1000 miles ago including valves (clearances and shims documented), all new fluids, running adjustments, front and rear suspension re oil, dropped a few mill on yokes, plus new chain/ sprockets, brake pads etc etc.
Oil usage negligible - seems a good one and led a charmed life with 3 mature owners
Yuasa battery less than 24 months old
Electrics good
Seat tail piece and tool kit, included
Yoshimura end can (never used) also available at extra negotiable cost
The bad....
Whilst it looks great on the right hand side and overall in good condition there is unfortunately cosmetic damage to paintwork on the left... all done in my ownership.. doh!
1/ stupidly dropped against a garage door upright on day 2 of my ownership when moving it - dink in tank left hand side
2/ slow speed l/ h drop, less than 10mph, over a speed hump 50 metres from home... cracked l/ h fairing. Home repaired and some gravel rash to paint, plus one more dink in tank low left hand side
3/ Front l/ h indicator will be replaced, recently broke on way to MoT
Genuine machine that starts well, rides nicely, power all through the range, no dead spots, and mechanically sound. I have used at about half a dozen track days (ride to the circuit) at Mallory Park (Inters) over the last few years running well up the field. Goes nicely on the road too and certainly reliable in my ownership and previous. Used regularly on the road this summer with one VJMC parade at Croft. This Yzf is all sorted to get on and go.
