The car was bought for overloading purposes (Northern Africa) and is equipped accordingly:
Defender 110 300TDI, 180000 miles. Completely camperized, simpson roof tent with step extension included.
It is equipped with a second battery, electricity portals throughout the vehicle, external security cameras on all sides, snorkel, off road lights, bed, storage, safe and much more....
We have recently completed a full check up of the car and made the following updates/ changes - we have of course kept all of the mechanics invoices to prove:
- Replaced transfer and gearbox.
-Replaced gearbox and transfer case supports
-Replaced cylinder head temperature sensor and thermostat (78°c)
-Change of first exhaust pipe and intercooler.
-Changed timing belt kit with reinforced pulley and tensioners, auxiliary belt, different gaskets and engine torics to eliminate leaks.
-Replaced gaskets and seals of gearbox and transfer to avoid leaks
-Replaced water pump
-Compress and redo valve adjustment.
-Replaced tunnel insulation pad
-Replaced fuel, air and oil filters
-Checked and replaced oil in rear group
-Replaced engine, gearbox and transfer oil with those indicated by the manufacturer.
In the last two years the car has also gotten new Cooper wheels + 1 spare, clutch and box silentbloks.
MOT until April 2025. Currently located in Benissa.
