Original D-type chassis, front axle, rear axle, bridge, suspension and hood
Non-original engine, changed in June 1956 by a Morris 850, similar in period, displacement and power
3 non-synchronized speed gearbox + reverse
Drum brakes with hydraulic operation instead of the cable system
12 volt electrical system rebuilt
Addition of an electric fan with manual start to the dashboard and an engine temperature gauge
Some aesthetic defects in the bodywork at the rear trunk (see last photo)
Set of original Lucas contactor, oil gauge and ammeter present but disconnected
Like many old ones, slight oil leaks (engine and gearbox) but no problems with oil level on the gauge and pressure on the dashboard pressure gauge during operation

English number plates and old V5 (from 2009) present
100% functionning car, agile on small roads as long as uphill slopes are not too steep as for all M-Type and D-Type with 3-speed gearbox
