Its soon year 2025, which is the 50th Anniversary of the first Jaguar XJS Coupe Cars, introduced in 1975, so here is a rare opportunity to own a fine example, of the much rarer 4 seat Convertible, built ONLY 6 weeks before production ended !
Fitted with most of the factory options, and in very rare and attractive turquoise colour with contrasting cream interior. Car came from Appleyard Jaguar, Bradford, still has Dealer sticker on heated rear window glass. I have owned her around 7 years, always been garaged and only light summer use, hence low mileage. Its not in concours condition, but certainly above average for its year, selling at very fair price, it has proved to be thoroughly reliable/ never let me down. Theres a large History File, been well maintained, much money spent, some items replaced include Radiator, Alternator, Battery, Set of 4 matching Pirelli P7 Tyres, Windscreen etc. About 6 years ago the car had been given full professional anti rust treatment (set of photos in H. File ) The electric roof operates very well and in excellent condition. Car still has its original working Radio which incorporates a tape player and controls for the 6 cd Changer in boot. I had got an Alpine Ezi-dab system connected by a Professional Car Radio Company, so it works through the cars FM Band., allowing you to enjoy 100 plus DAB Stations. (This can easily be disconnected if not reqd.)
The original Diamond Cut Wheels were refurbished around 3 years ago, and do add the finishing touches to the car.
This car benefits from the latest version of the AJ16 Engine, 4 litres, which is extremely refined, reliable, smooth and economical too !
An official Jaguar Heritage Build Certificate was purchased by me, for the car, its included,
along with fantastic Wind Deflector, shown in photos, simply hooks onto existing rear seat belt fixings, in seconds ! (NO HOLES OR BRACKETS )
In addition, the buyer will be given what spares and literature I have, along with a second set of Remotes/ Keys.
