Opel Kadett 1. 6 GT. The Opel SR equivalent. Non cat and last carburetor version. 2 door, no sunroof version, No rust. New Spanish inspection certificate. Passed with no advisory. This great example car is a perfect blank canvas either to Race/ Rally being 2 door and non sunroof version, an engine conversion or to take it further and get it to show standard. It is a very perky little car and it’s renowned Vauxhall 1600cc OHC belies its relatively small capacity whilst being very economical. It is very much in the mould of the lightweight warmer hatchbacks of old. Simple and very rewarding with no electronics to get in the way of driving. It is also the last year of carburettors so no CAT rules. It is smooth and reliable enough to use everyday if you so desired. Motorways are a breeze. Many new parts have been installed. New brakes, suspension , driveshafts, service and details for taking it back to original. New gearbox and clutch just installed.
