Genuine sport model with anthracite headliner and shadow trim. Registered in May 2001 - one of the last few made. There are less than 100 remaining on UK roads but still easy to get parts.
The engine is silky smooth and powerful when needed. Also surprisingly economical on the motorway. The Interior is clean and the bodywork still shines. I enjoy every drive and will be sad to say goodbye but soon moving abroad.
Any inspection welcome. MOT August 2025. The engine was rebuilt by previous owner. More recent work includes Brembo rear disks, pads and handbrake shoes, radiator, thermostat, front suspension (shocks, springs, 11 pieces of control arm/ track rod / bushings etc), 4 x new tyres, M Parallel wheels refurbished by WheelRight, dashboard pixel display replaced by Revtronic (to fix missing pixels). Recent oil change, filters (air, oil and cabin), coolant and brake fluid change, new battery.
I have a comprehensive file with all receipts during my ownership as well as original owners handbook, folder etc (although the original service book is missing).
Observations and remaining snagging:
No fuel tank leaks. No OBD11 codes or faults. All electrics are fine apart from CD auto changer and cigarette lighter which are not working for some reason - I don’t use either so haven’t investigated. Air con is no longer cold. Small patch of rust just starting to appear on RHS bonnet edge and rear passenger side door edge. There is scuff mark on passenger side wheel arch.
MOT until August 2025. Now 192000 miles - still being used regularly for longer trips.
