The Hybrid Escalade belongs to the third-generation Escalade, the most iconic SUV ever. Built on the GMT900 platform, was produced from 2009 to 2013. GM's premier luxury SUV continued to offer generous space along with plenty of comfort and amenities for families looking to hit the highway. Towing capacity was also substantial, with a max rating of 5, 600 lbs on the Hybrid Platinum Edition 4x4 trim.
The SUV featured a Vortec V8 and two 60-kilowatt electric motors supplied by a nickel-metal hydride battery pack under the rear seat. A continuously variable transmission, which GM called a "two-mode continuous electric ratio hybrid transmission with four fixed gears" sent power to the wheels.
Power comes from a 6. 0-liter hybrid V8, rated at 332 horsepower and 367 lb-ft of torque for the V8 alone. GM states that combined output with the V8 and electric motors is 379 horsepower. The engines spin the rear or all four wheels through a 4-speed automatic transmission with a 2-speed transfer case.
The earliest hybrid luxury SUVs, it is also an effective one, improving fuel economy by nearly 50 percent compared to the non-hybrid Escalade.
It's pristine condition and comfort is out of this world bar none.

All Maintenance inspections completed, oil and filters changed, engine electrical system checked by Official Cadillac Service and American Cars Specialist Service in Spain.
Enjoyed it 10 years in Spain and imported it to UK in 2023 (39, 658 miles) and since then in London (gated parking).
