Lexus LS 400 4 litre V8 in silver. Previously owned by Bjorn Ulveus from Abba. Bjorn bought this car in 1997 and used in around his home in Stockholm for several years.
One can only imagine what musical masterpieces could have been going through his head whilst driving this car about. It is still on the original Swedish plates but could easily be UK registered. For an MOT it would need a change of headlamps to UK ones but these are cheap on E bay.
The car has a good service history and Bjorn's name appears on the Swedish registration doc as a previous owner.
These cars were built to be better and more luxurious than Mercedes or BMW and in my view Lexus did a great job. The V8 is smooth and powerful and for a big car it handles really well. The interior is opulent with acres of black leather and wood. It still smells like a new car.
These cars are bullet proof and it still drives as it should. All electrics work and I have been unable to fault it.
The body work is in nice condition. There are a couple of bits on the air dam that could do with a re touch and there is some rust round the aerial which would be an easy fix. Imagine driving down the road with Abba Gold on the CD auto changer. Then you could make some calls from Bjorn's car-phone! Actually I have not checked to see if the phone can be made to work. I expect it could. I have also not checked the phone book, that could be interesting!
I would be happy to deliver anywhere in Europe at cost price just for the fun of it.
