New MOT from 6th Jun '24 but currently not running due to an electrical fault.
6 Owners with extensive detailed records of service and owners handbook etc.
Car has been in my family for approximately 25 years. My father and I are 2 of those owners. I inherited it in late 2017 and it had been sat unused for about 15 years due to my fathers health.
The good stuff -
Had a full body off mechanical restoration done back at a respectable TVR specialist - Southways Automotive Fareham. Finished in 2021. All chassis/ outriggers sorted. Engine work done, exhaust, cams done, suspension and brakes etc. Well over 20k spent. Brand new tyres all round, original wheels, new electrical system with wiring diagrams. Headlights both worked, last time I looked anyway :-) I have tons of photos of the process and I'm sure Southways have records of everything that was redone/ replaced.
The bad stuff -
Firstly car is not currently running. Took it out for a spin after its recent MOT and it died. Recovered it to my house and got an auto electrician round who tracked the issue down to a faulty wire somewhere between the ignition and the fuse board, which he recommended get sorted at an actual garage. I don't have the time, energy or will to spend any more money on this. Could be an easy fix but I'm done with it now and am happy to free up some drive space.
Cosmetic - Bodywork and interior need work, some scrapes, fibreglass cracks on front splitter, paint bubbles and interior veneers need replacing. Hood is tatty on edges and plastic window has come unstitched in places. Gear stick rattles when in gear and driving, unless you rest your hand on the stick. Could be a loose bolt or something worn out. No issue with drive and can get into gears fine. Just a wobbly stick? (I'm clearly not a mechanic)
It has only been driven a dozen times over the past 3 years and I don't have the time/ energy or the mechanical knowledge to keep it in condition. It needs to be driven, it sounds amazing and turns heads. Will need to be towed/ recovered on the back of a lorry from my driveway. Been family owned for approx 30 years, mechanically restored in 2021 and dry stored since. Only driven on dry days and checking the chassis shows some dirt but no moisture.
The noise of the car is basically what has stopped me selling it earlier - the exhaust sound is brutal. Watch a couple of videos linked to see/ hear it. Lots of pops and bangs etc.

In my opinion the best colour for a TVR. Oceanic blue I think its called.

Enormous amount of original paperwork/ history and some books etc.
Selling as I don't have the time or knowledge to maintain the car and I'd like to know it was being used. Its a very special car but I cant see myself getting to drive it. Its only a couple of years away from gaining classic status.
Priced low due to current fault and the cosmetic stuff that needs sorting. I also would like to make some room on the drive as we'll be adding another car for my son who's learning to drive.
