Description
Reluctant Sale due to House move.....
A much admired very original Series 1 - 4. 2 XJ6 - first registered 1st August 1973
to Norman Clough, sold the car to William Delany 1974 sold to my friend and fellow JDC member Ben Figg in 1979, so I have known the car for 45 years. He owned other classics and an every day car, so the Jaguar did get special care from that date. It was dry stored for 20 years until my son and I bought it from Bens widow in 2010. The car was drivable at that point and passed an MOT. The car spent the next 3 years being re commissioned (this work is listed below). The car has matching numbers mostly original paint and original chrome, the factory underseal is still in place. Everything needed to bring the car up to good running order has been done. The car drives exactly as it should. There is a full record of bills just short of £6k in parts alone. My labour is not included.
