We have owned and used this for the last 15 years. The replacement engine was fitted from a low milage 200Tdi discovery. It has been fitted without the turbo to extend the life of the driveline, although the turbo, intercooler and other parts are available in the spares kit. Its starts, runs, and stops as it should.
You will be only the 4th owner, The first owned it from new until approx. 2006 the second owner only had it in storage for 6 months or so and then we purchased it in May 2007. Since then, it has had regular use up until around three years ago when it was tucked away in a barn until we recommissioned it over the summer 2022. It is a very tidy example and is still on its original chassis which is in great shape. We also have a large selection of original handbooks and workshop manuals, as well as 2 large boxes of spares. (These and mostly cataloged and we can provide this info if required).
Up for sale due to having to many other projects requiring our time. Much easier for us to tell you this vehicles story when you call or come and see it. Does have a fantastic history/ story and piles of paperwork to support it.
