Description
Built by Pininfarina at its factory in St Georgio Italy, (Peugeot just handled the sales and marketing)
I have owned this beauty for nearly 5 years and it has given me no trouble at all. It had only done 52, 000 when I bought it and since then I have replaced the timing belt (2 months ago) and replaced the silencer (1 week ago) it has a great sunroof, four solid tyres, the same with the spare. Some paint needs renewing as it is fading a little on the roof but apart from that, it is as you would expect for a 26 year old car. There are a couple of minor issues, the cruise control doesn't work and the digital temperature display doesn't work.
I have had it regularly serviced so it drives like a dream and people stop and admire it, cos it does look like a Ferrari from the side.
The aircon is amazing, especially in hot weather. She is good for another twenty years of stylish motoring at least. MOT until July 2025 Next MOT due 31/ 07/ 2025, Satellite Grey, 5+ owners, £1, 750As it has done so little mileage, it drives like a new car. The build quality is excellent and the seats and carpets look brand new. The drive is smooth and comfortable with good acceleration and a top speed of about 130 (not in England) the speakers in the rear parcel shelf are JVC and the sound quality is excellent. New Bosch windscreen wipers and powerful washers give a clear screen even in heavy rain. When you open the driver's and the passenger's doors, the window glass drops slightly. Closing the doors sees the glass raise again so that it is flush with the door rubbers, A red light comes on at the base of each door to warn cars behind that the door is open. On leaving the car at night, the interior and footwell lights stay on for ten seconds.
