BMW ALPINA B3 3. 0 CABRIO 250CV 1993 - The Alpina B3 3. 0 was developed on the basis of the 3 Series of the E36 generation. It was available in the 4-door Sedan, Coupé, Cabrio and Touring variants. The B3 and B6 models were powered by in-line six-cylinder engines. They were in production between 1993 and 1996. The base body for the B3 3. 0 was a 325i (E36), with a 2. 5L M50B25 engine expanded to 3. 0L, delivering 320nm of torque and 250bhp of power. It was the direct successor to the Alpina B6-2. 8 model, which was also based on the BMW 325i. For both models, Alpina used the more robust M50B25 cast iron engine, as the 328i's M52 engine wasn't suitable for expanding displacement. New suspensions were developed for this model, along with a new braking system, a 25 per cent self-locking differential and Alpina 8j and 9j x17’ spoked wheels. Specific Alpina exterior stripes. Specific front spoiler. The interior is equipped with natural full leather sports seats, wooden dashboard inserts, wooden gear lever, full leather steering wheel with green and blue Alpina stitching. Instrument panel with blue background and red needles. Alpina branded floor mats. This modern classic Alpina B3 3. 0 Cabrio is completely original and in superb condition. Presented in an elegant combination, it has a dark blue ‘Mauritius Blue 287’ exterior, with a black ‘Black Leather’ interior.
European version, sold and delivered new in Germany, then registered in Portugal in April 2007. It has the particularity of being a manual transmission version. It had a very restricted and limited production run of just 119 examples in the Cabrio configuration, this being No. 004 with the nameplate. It has all the manuals/ review books.
