Land Rover Series III
I’ve owned this Land Rover for about 3 years, purchased from a friend who had it for 24 Years
As you can see from the images the front has been changed to look like defender.
It now has a 200 tdi engine and 4 speed box.
It comes with a 4 inch lift
The rims are deep dish American imports.
Warn 8275 on front
Rear Superwinch
Parabolic Springs all round, and extended shackles
During my time the following has been done
Steve parker exhaust from the manifold to the end.
Headlights replaced
Steering damper
Track rod ends
New seatbelts
New Radiator
Front seats from a defender
New tyres all round Toyo MT.
Exmoor trim hood.
Galvanised door tops with neoprene guides.
Shocks all round
New brake pads.
Chassis has been painted and sprayed inside and out with protection oil.
Gearbox and transfer box had some new bearings, the transfer box also allows to cruise better. The 88 is a head turner with or without the roof rolled up, the Steve Parker exhaust makes it sound nice when driving the town or villages.
This 88 use to go down to the Alps every summer where it use take similar cars touring around the alps
