Ok, this isn't your usual R53 mini, firstly it's an early R53 JCW , Certificate number S690 and being British Racing Green its quite rare and hard to find and has 200bhp as a gen 1 JCW , wow!
An appreciating classic (22 yrs) also it's in fantastic condition having recently had around £8k spent on a full refurbishment, using only good quality parts.
So many new parts fitted it's hard to list them all, these r53 minis are 20+ yrs old now , if they haven't had these parts replaced , chances are they will need doing soon. Consider this when looking at cheaper examples for sale!
Most of the work has been done at a local mini specialist who has gone over the car and replaced anything that was needed. No expense was spared, I spent way too much on it and planned to keep long term. My loss can be your gain :-)
Its now it's a stunner ready to enjoy.
It is a great investment or fun daily driver to use and enjoy, it's totally standard, no aftermarket mods like many seem to have , I'll try an list the main things it's had done,,,,,,
Top end engine work, headgasket, camshaft etc. Bottom pulley, oil pump, rocker shaft, water pump, alternator casing, clutch slave cylinder + more.
Bonnet cable
New clutch
New flywheel
New radiator
New fans and resistors
New oil cooler
New heat exchanger
New spark plugs
supercharger service
4x wheels professionally sandblasted and powder coated (better than new),
4 x new tyres Toyo Proxes,
4 x new shocks absorbers (Blstein b4s),
4 x new springs ,
4 x new strut mounts
Full paint refresh in original colour British racing green at same time lots if bits replaced with new eg. various clips , screws and seals, rear lights, 3rd brake light, boot handle, aero grill, A pillar trims+++

New K&N panel air filter
New power steering pump, pipework, and correct fluid.
Just had oil and filter change.
Lots of gaskets and seals replaced at local mini specialist e. g sump gasket, oil pump gaskets etc.
These gen 1 JCWs are getting harder to find , especially standard without modifications, and this is a really good example , hpi clear, all glass is original and even has original BMW stamp on, stacks of receipts for prev work done , not full service history but a big folder of work done. (Plus most work mentioned above just been done this year)
Only one minor fault, air bag light is on, very common fault.
Currently used as a bit of a toy but used daily around town and its great and us totally reliable.
For sale again due to time waster, genuine enquiries only pls.
I'm open to swaps / deal / trade up or trade down , I'm looking for a nice old VW, eg old golf , maybe s beetle. Must be good condition though I don't want another project !It's just had over £8500 spent on a refurbishment ( it was £8k but then power steering pump failed) it's an amazing car , drives amazing, used daily , totally reliable and lots of smiles per gallon :-)
