Metalic blue 5 door VW Polo CL hatchback that was imported before being sold to me as new when the Mark 3 Generation was new in 1994, its driver's airbag has never been needed, but its reassuring to know that it is there if it is ever required, it has; height adjustable power steering, electronic immobiliser, electrically heated adjustable door mirrors, tinted glass, a spacious boot & individually folding down rear seats for additional storage capacity & a Sony radio. Mileage has been shared between 2 cars resulting in its low mileage. It has been serviced yearly from 1995 to 2022 at 53260 miles, current mileage is 53649. A really lovely car which has been a part of our family. Economical to run. It has some scratches in the paintwork as might be expected in a car that is no longer new, and has provided good service and been kept and maintained in anticipation that it will provide many more years of service. 26 services are listed in the schedule, no service is listed in 2020, but a new ignition coil module was fitted in an additional second service in December 2019 that is not stamped on the service schedule list. Numerous items have been replaced with new parts and consumables have been replaced when recommended, for example a new exhaust was fitted in November 2020, about 1500 miles ago. The car has been kept in a garage since it was new, and only left not under cover when not at home. It had recently developed a problem with cutting out after a period of driving. I suspect that problem might be resolved by asking an electrical specialist to replace the existing alarm and immobilizer with a new one, but I have not been able to investigate & resolve that because ULEZ charges that I couldn't afford were introduced, so it has been having a rest under SORN, unused but protected from rain since 1 May 2023. It is therefore not currently taxed or insured or MOT'd, so it would need to be picked up with a lorry, although it can be driven onto and off the lorry. It would be best relocated outside of the M25 where ULEZ charges do not apply.
