K series upgrade forks and brakes. Ohlins single sided GS rear drive on a Becks sub frame. K series alloy tank and Ducati 851 fairing (personally would have preferred the round headlamp 900SS, or a Bol Dor type twin lamp endurance racer one, but this beautifully fitted.) Tomaselli levers. Bespoke stainless exhaust. Big valves. Ported heads. Upgraded oil pump. Becks signature mod of tilting the engine and moving a tad to the right, gives perfect shaft line and improves handling/ ground-clearance.
I imported the bike from Holland in 2015. Sold it to cleverer guy than me who spruced all framework from red to gold, fitted new Dellortos instead of the less efficient Bings, fitted new clutch and starter. Was in Classic Bike in Feb 2017. Then sold in Mathewsons April 2022 auction . That new owner fitted the two position footrest plates, and i bought it back from him.
I have poor legs and knees, and am 6ft 2 so was going to put bike back to a standard road condition, but would be a shame as is quite unique, and is very quick. Would do swops say 80 or 100GS or 90S, provided not too mint and expensive. Want to ride it, not show it.
Do not confuse this with a standard boxer, is very smooth and very quick. Be great fun for track days, classic events, parades etc, hill climbs, or just nice road bike. Footrests are in the back and lower position at moment, but if shorter person can take plates off and revert to frame plates.
