Looks like a Mach 1, smells like a Mach 1, and goes rather well, of course it isn'[t a Mach 1, it hasn't got M1 stamped on the cases, but in most other respects it does the trick. Bought as a US import Daytona I've spent lots of time (and money!!) creating this one. It has the correct 5 fin hubs and an SSi carb that actually works! Otherwise it's as shown in the pictures, it has a lovely twin leading shoe front brake and a pivoting kick start that actually functions as it should, unlike the original banana shaped nonsense on the original M1. I made the rear sets and linkages, both of which function correctly, most of the fixtures and fittings are new, exhaust, cables, wiring, battery, tyres etc. Paint by Pete Priest, everything else by me, it's a lovely thing for either conservatory or to be ridden to the pub.
