Description
1956 BSA M21 rigid frame with Briggs sidecar. Numbers match factory records which show it was despatched from the factory to a dealer in Larne, NI. I imported and rebuilt it a few years ago and matched it to the sidecar which has also been restored and painted to match. I've also added a braked hub to the sidecar.
The bike has been dry stored in my workshop and not ridden for the last two years or so, just started every few months. I'm selling it on as I'm not using it enough and need the space back. It will likely need a little fettling to get it back ready for the road. The bike and sidecar are currently disconnected for ease of storage. The mileage shows that covered since the rebuild. I've used original NOS parts where possible, exhaust from Armour's. I have a dating certificate from the BSAOC and also a copy of the factory record which suggests that it was a special order as (I think) that rigid rear had been discontinued as a standard option by 1956.
The combo has proved a real head turner in the lanes of Norfolk when we've been out for local rides!
