Here we have an outstanding example of a classic BMW E34 M5 3. 8 Nurburgring edition.
The E34 generation of the M5 was produced from 1988 to 1995. It was hand-built at BMW M GmbH in Garching, Germany. Assembly was done either by a single M employee or a team of M employees and generally took about two weeks. In the second half of 1991, the engine displacement was increased to 3. 8 liters. Power was now increased to 250 kW (335 bhp). The E34 M5 was the last M5 to feature an engine with a historical link to a BMW Motorsport racing engine. Only a few right hand drive models for the UK market were made and it may be as little as 350.
This lovely BMW M5 is in the fantastic colour combination of Avus Blue with Silver-Grey leather. It has been in my personal collection for over 9 years. It comes with a full service history, receipts and old Mot’s. It’s in original condition and the only modifications that were made by the previous owner were the Clarion Radio/ Sat Nav and Alpine DAB Digital Radio Interface.
Since the car was in storage for few years some work was needed to put it back on the road and get a valid Mot. Recent work includes a full service including brake fluid change, air conditioning service, auxiliary belt, 4 new tyres, new brake discs and pads and 4 refurbished brake calipers and carriers powdered coated in gray to match the colour of the side skirts.
