The Plus 8 50th was produced to commemorate 50 years of the Morgan Plus 8. First introduced in 1968, the Plus 8 is one of the most iconic Morgan models ever produced. To commemorate this anniversary, in 2018 the company introduced a limited run of 50 vehicles called the “Plus 8 50th”. In the back catalogue of Morgan Plus 8 models produced during its 50 year lifespan, this particular example – which was produced as the launch vehicle and has resided in the company’s heritage fleet ever since – sits as one of the most prominent.
Visually inspired by the first Plus 8, MMC 11, the striking Plus 8 50th made a statement with its ‘speedster’ style. As the launch vehicle, this particular car was displayed at the Geneva Motor Show in 2018.
As with all Morgan Motor Company press fleet, the vehicle features a high level of specification and has been maintained to the highest standards, above and beyond the required servicing levels of a normal Morgan.
