Welcome to my Austin Metro Vanden Plas.
This car was brought by my best friends auntie back in 1982 and then many years later I brought it.
So this metro has only had a few owners and therefore I know its history extremely well. It’s covered 49, 000 miles and has been a big part of my life for the past 10 years, however now having a young family I’m being forced to move on. (I simply don’t have room for her)
I’ve been slowly investing into this car over the last decade and only last month spending an eye watering £3000. (Please see one of the pictures that shows a full breakdown of this bill)
Safe to say it’s now in perfect working order and drives like a dream.
The body of the car is solid and you’ll see it has just gone through a MOT and is now ready to someone to enjoy her.
This car is tax and MOT exempt and costs me under £200 a year to insure.
There are only 12 of these cars registered on the UK roads, so this is a very rare opportunity. This car has made me and everyone else smile when they see her drive past, it’s got so much history and character and it’s truly fun.
