1937 Vauxhall GY 25 Saloon
Hi and welcome to my listing and this unique opportunity to purchase a Vauxhall GY 25 Saloon.
This very rare motor car is in lovely condition inside & out, the black over red paintwork presents very well and has a nice shine to it. The matching red leather interior looks to be original and is therefore showing a lovely patina.
EKL 274 records only 3 previous owners from new - quite remarkable is that it was with the first owner from 1937 to 2009! It is showing only 33k miles which could well be correct.
Dry stored for a number of years, it is now in good running order, the engine fires up immediately and sounds sweet. The gears select nicely and it has working brakes. It may require a small degree of recommissioning before any serious road use due to its period in storage.
Comes with a large quantity of spare parts, workshop repair manuals, owners manual, old servicing receipts, old style buff logbook, it even has a tax disc from 1953 which is nice to see.
