A down to earth sports car powered by the Ford V6 Injection engine, I bought earlier in the summer for a bit of fun however I have been tempted by another car and would rather sell it now than store it over the winter and sell next spring. It had the chassis refurbished in 2010 and I have a file with photos and other history. Tyres are fairly recent with lots of tread. Recent alloy radiator with twin fans. Adjustable shocks. Its a back to basics drive that connects you to the road in a way you can have fun without driving at speeds most of our roads don't encourage. Its also simple to maintain with excellent access to the engine and front suspension.
I bought it from a respected classic car dealer who described it accurately as "whilst not in pristine condition, this S3 is a real user car that drives so well". The Cooper Green paintwork is shiny with few imperfections although the nose is somewhat gravel rashed. The cream leather seats are in good condition and would respond well to a clean and some recolouring. The carpet behind the seats lets the side down a little. But its not hiding anything, the important bits are in very good order and it drives really nicely. It is way better than some of the borderline projects advertised for not much less, so if you are after one of these grab an autumn bargain.
