Description
Jaguar 3. 4l s-type in excellent running order. Car is in good solid condition inside and out. Engine runs smoothly and still with a great deal of power even by modern standards! The car benefits from the more desirable 4 speed manual gearbox with overdrive.
The car comes with a range of invoices and receipts for servicing and work carried out. The paperwork also includes some details of an older restoration.
Wire wheels are in good condition with only a few small marks. Chrome work is excellent and the car also benefits from stainless steel bumpers which shows the amount of money lavished upon it over the years.
The engine pulls well and has bags of power (and sounds fantastic too).
The blue leather interior is in good original condition and shows some nice patina but is completely usable. In fact, the interior is as lovely a place to be as it was when new, with extreme levels of comfort.
The woodwork along doors and dashboard have a highly polished shiny coat of original varnish which shows the walnut off to its very best!.
The power steering is nice and light and works as it should.
Brakes are strong and the rear callipers have been replaced and work brilliantly. The suspension always tended to and work well even on our potholed uk roads.
The car has been stored out of the rain but has a small bubble in the paintwork on the wing and a small bubble on the bottom of drivers door. I bought the car as I’d always wanted one and am only selling to indulge my interest in cars in another classic possibly in the future. I’ve done a few weddings for friends and family with the car and I’ve always been immensely proud to show it off . It never ceases to turn heads particularly with its stunning ‘Aston like’ original jaguar colour of opalescent silver!
