Australian made 1969 Ford Falcon XW is highly sort after. How this iconic piece of motoring history found itself in Finland and how I became the owner is an amazing story and I am happy to share with anyone interested. The overall condition of the car is excellent for its age but it does have some rust issues that can be fixed as new replacement weld in sections are available. The motor is not running as it needs a set of points and the seals in the brake master cylinder have perished and need replacing. The car is matching numbers, unmolested and unrestored condition with 16600 miles on the speedometer. It is missing the original Superfringe radio, lens covers from the interior lights, one door lock knob and a blinker lens, otherwise the car is complete. The car comes with full documentation for both Australia and Finland including original sales docs and service history and Finnish historic registration docs. Was planning to turn it into a legendary GTHO replica as everyone in Australia does. My first car was a Ford Falcon XW Futura and I owned it for 5 years before selling it. I regret doing so and no doubtable will regret selling the XW Fairmont.
This Aussie Legend needs to be sold as it is currently in dry storage at a property that has been sold so it has to go.
