Presented above is a Mauritius Blue Audi TT 1. 8 Turbo 225 BAM Quattro. I am the fifth proud owner. This TT was originally purchased on the 9th July 2002 from Hayselden Audi in Wakefield and up until my ownership has spent its whole life in the Wakefield/ Leeds/ Doncaster area.
The car comes with a wealth of history in the form of receipts for services and repairs. During my ownership no expense has been spared and the following works have been carried out. Volkswagen Audi Specialist SUNSET DERBY replaced the Cambelt and Water Pump at 110K Miles, A full service has been recently carried out changing the oil and filter as well as replacing all four spark plugs and cleaning the K & N air filter, Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance tyres have been installed on all four corners, the rear discs / pads / caliper have been replaced, the front inner and outer CV Boots have been replaced, a new thermostat has been fitted and a new N75 Boost Pressure valve and Mass Air Flow Sensor have been installed to prevent their failure as these are two common faults in the boost system. All these works have been carried out from 110k-112k miles.
Previous owners and I have subtly enhanced the styling of this 225 BAM through the additions of an Audi TT Quattro Sport rear valance and three bar front grill, Wheel spacers (15mm Front and 25mm Rear) and a Cupra front splitter which is a common modification on these Mark 1 Audi TTs. In conjunction with these aesthetic modifications this TT has also benefitted from a Scorpion Red Power Cat-Back Exhaust system giving a lovely noise without being too overpowering as well as Bilstein lowering springs all around. I would argue these modifications have truly benefitted the cars handing and responsiveness, making for a much better driving experience than a standard MK1 225 BAM. In the Cockpit a SONY MEX-N7300BD Radio has been installed, this is the best single din radio on the market with DAB/ DAB+, Bluetooth connectivity, Handsfree phone calls, CD player and USB/ AUX ports.
This is a great car to drive and a very reluctant sale due to other priorities, particularly after the amount of work and effort I have put into making this car as perfect as it can be. Please note the number plate currently on the car will not be sold with the vehicle. I do however have another private plate (X20HGB) I would be happy to sell at extra cost.
