An extremely regrettable sale of this 1995 SL320, owned for the past 20 years.
Has been a fantastic car, always admired and looked after, always starts on the button, drives lovely and is smooth up through the gears.
Looks great with the traditional two tone silver coachwork and recently refurbished blue leather interior.
It’s aged well with only 100600 miles on the clock to date, barely worn in for one of these bulletproof engines.
Aesthetically it presents well with just a handful of stone chips, some water stains on the bonnet and a small amount on the boot lid, an economical repair in the grand scheme in comparison to the rest of its lovely condition.
A previous MOT test stated that the car was suffering from some under body corrosion, this being common on many cars of this age. There is surface corrosion on exhaust and suspension components that could easily be wire brushed and treated with a future rust protector. The last MOT test adviser felt this was being harsh and advised a decent clean up and that it is not affecting the car. With this taken into consideration it is reflected in the price and if done well it could make the car very profitable in the future as low mileage examples like this are rising... just do not have time to do it.
Has very good Michelin tyres all round and comes with mostly local trusted garage receipts for works carried out and 10 months mot.
As can be seen in the photos; there are no nasties, it looks wonderful in the sunshine and is a snug drive with the hard top on. Roof is in very good condition and comes with the stand and bag.
