I purchased this car in June 2022 after looking for almost 2 years for the right one. It came from a Citroën Car Club member and is well known in BX circles. The car was already in great condition when I purchased it and I have just made small improvements over my time of ownership. These include having the original steel wheels professionally refurbished and fitment of 4 brand new Avon ZT 7’s, plus sourcing the correct Pilot/ GTi wheel trims.
A new clutch professionally fitted by HiTech engineering at Kettering, plus lubrication of the mechanism. The engine had new valve stem oil seals and a brand new Webber carb just before I purchased the car. In addition to this I have replaced the engine bay fuel hoses, distributor vacuum advance diaphragm, plugs, leads and coil, plus usual oil changes.
The BX drives beautifully and the engine pulls really well, the suspension is quiet and works as intended. Mot’d until August 2025. Mileage - 102, 925 - V5 Document in my name
The interior and trim are in excellent condition and are a credit to the previous owners.
The BX is rock solid underneath and has been Lanoguarded yearly in addition to never being driven in the rain/ winter during my ownership, it has always been garaged by me.
It also has the following accessory options fitted - Boot Compartment Door, GTi Spoiler, Splitter, Fog Lights, Mud Flaps
