Great condition for the age being over 40 years old this little classic hatchback is Tax and MOT exempt.
Regularly serviced with recent cambelt change.
Exterior is the original colour from factory but was refreshed 4 years ago.
Wheels are VW bottle caps custom split with a nice chrome dish now sized to 16inch
Suspension is pro sport adjustable coil overs
Exhaust is stainless steel from the downpipe back
GTi bigger lip front splitter
Interior is untouched and still all original apart from the headlining in black leather.
Now for the interesting bit, unfortunately the owner before me didn't want a sunroof anymore but without his knowledge the so called bodyshop that did the sunroof delete absolutely made a dog's dinner out of it hiding the bodge with over 1 inch of filler in places.
After months of searching for a decent roof cut to no avail I found a local fabrication shop that specialised in classics and more importantly MK1 golfs who make carbon fibre roofs for race cars, after visiting them and seeing one in person I knew this was the route I wanted to go down and one I'm very glad I did.
Thanks to my painter Mark at smart away on hailsham the roof looks like glass and that glossy carbon pops and complements the green so well, I know it won't be to everyones taste but I'm yet to find someone that says they don't like it.
I'm open to conversations, genuine viewings, text messages and even if you want a nose at the roof to see it in person, be honest with me and I'll give you all the time you want.

No piss takers, no tyre kickers, no test pilots without proof of insurance no test drives, no I will come get it this weekend for 2k cash.
The car is kept away from home dry stored and secure so viewings will need at least 2 days notice.
