Description
This bike is now registered as historic vehicle with new V5 printed in my name and reflecting it's status. It IS NOW OFFICIALLY ROAD TAX EXEMPT, MOT EXEMPT AND COMPLIANT WITH LOW EMISSION ZONES !
Before the historic vehicle declaration was done bike went through recommissioning which included large amount of work listed below:
Valve clearance set to required specs
New valve cover gasket
Carbs cleaned and balanced
Plenum chamber drain cleaned and reed valves inspected(all in perfect order)
Oil cooler + hoses replaced
Boost pressure sensor replaced
Fuel check valve refurbished with new seals
New air filter (custom made from quality foam used by brands like Pipercross or Ramair)
New spark plugs
New clutch plates
New clutch cable
Master cylinder rebuilt(piston, seal, spring)
Brake calipers stripped and rebuilt with new seals
New brake pads fitted
Fresh brake fluid
Recent brake shoes in the brake drum at rear
Recent Battery
New front tire + valve
Fresh engine oil + oil filter
Fresh oil in the cardan shaft drive hub
Engine covers resprayed to fresh clean look
Oil temperature gauge added plus some other little refresh jobs etc
Windscreen has a small and hardly noticeable crack which doesn't affect riding. New windscreens are available for 60 quid at Skidmarx if it's a bother.
Summary:
This is a very clean bike without rust.
Workshop manual included on memory stick.
