Mini Austin 1970 for sale. Originally a 1000 but the engine has been upgraded to a 1275 by Z-Cars Performance. Please be advised this car is defiantly not for the purist
The engine change has been recorded on the V5.
It’s an extremely reluctant sale but I need the funds to complete my ongoing mk1 golf project. The car was always bought to enjoy it and then pass it on. I never intended to do any work to it but we as a family adore the mini (baby bumble bee). Trying to do the best for our little car we decided to replace the rear subframe as it was showing signs of rot. Whilst replacing the subframe, we replaced all pipe work, brakes and shocks.
It’s a solid car and is a real head turner, just taking the car to the shops I get people getting their phones out to take pictures.
The mini has been deseemed and has been done to a great standard. Externally the car is amazing apart from a little bubbling on the front wing.
The interior could do with some work, a new wood dash has been fitted, new steering wheel and cobra bucket seats. Headlining and dash fittings still need attention. I have a brand new set of carpets that will come with the sale of the car.
The mini drives and handles like a go kart and it absolutely fly’s with the performance engine.
