I may be the third one. I have bought the car at Ghost Mortor Works in the Kent in January 2014. At that time, the MOT was OK.
Then I brought my car to France when I returned from an expatriation and I got a French Plate. All Tecnical inspections have been successful.
Finally I moved to Portugal in early 2019 and got a Portuguese plate since. I enjoy driving the car regularly. And every Summer time, I let my car be transported by platform to the French Riviera to keep on enjoying it and afterwards back to Portugal. Last long trip I have driven is on August 2024, aNice to Paris and Back without any issue but a very pleasant road trip. Why this car ?
I have always dreamt owning a Rolls Royce Silver Shadow 2 but I discovered the Bentley Turbo R which is a kind of sport Rolls Royce (with a RR engine but empowered with a Turbo). And it is more discreet. Only people aware of this car remark it and appreciate it.
Why this colour ?
I do not like too much the blue ones or even less the grey ones. I do like the combination of the external beige and the beautifull cream colour inside. That fits perfectly with the wood.
For the rest,
it is quite easy to imagine the pleasure of being within a pure british environment (car built at Cowes) protected from the outside and led comfortably any where you wish. And to be able to a polite but warm smile when a pedestrian makes a sign of admiration to your car.
