TE610E Husqvarna 1999
The dual sport and electric start version of the big husky enduro bike with proper oil pump, counter balance shaft, wide ratio 6 speed gearbox, long service intervals, cush drive hub - all making it a great light/ middle weight adventure tool! Honestly the most comfortable single I've ever ridden on long stints of pavement with very little vibration. Super rare high capacity tank!
Bike has been used off road, so has marks to suit! Mechanically solid and oil, filter, screens, valve adjust and cam chain tension has just been done - 0km since then. Pulled out the clutch and measured wear and plate warp and all within spec. It's ready for more adventuring.
Selling due to a move. Due to an injury I let MOT and tax lapse, but wouldn't be an issue. Exact mileage I'm unsure of prior to rebuild as previous owner swapped the dash and it inherited the mileage of the bike he took it from.
Comes with a huge spares package (spare front forks, rear shock and linkage, side covers, gears, clutch, dash, plus more)
Upgrades from stock:
- Upgraded suspension to later model (Sachs rear, Marzochi forks)
- Holeshot racing piston and barrel, serial number on casing for reference
- Long range tank (super rare)
- Comfort seat (original seat also available)
- Clutch cup spring washers upgraded given the stock ones can be weak
The perfect compromise in my opinion compared to friends Honda XR650R or KTM 690 which vibrate more and are less comfortable. Good power, faster than the 650R. The lower seat height does wonders for confidence whilst ground clearance is very good for low speed offroad stuff.
