Description
1983 Saab 900 GLI 5 speed 5 door. 1 previous keeper for 37 years and, prior to that, by Saab itself for the first 2 years totaling 2 former keepersand has been mainly garaged.
The car has been well maintained throughout its life. With original factory optional headlight covers, a sunroof, moss immobiliser and alarm. All dials and gauges work as they should.
The 900 GLI is a very rare car, only 2 registered on the road in the UK, this example remains in very good condition, unlike so many others of its type. Very low mileage of 80, 006 which will increase slightly as it has days out at classic car shows.
Having such a very impressive MOT history and only 2 previous owners, it is a highly collectable classic car. Also road tax and MOT exempt. Plus very low insurance premiums due to being a DVLA registered historic vehicle.
A new clutch was fitted in 2023.
Power steering and servo assisted braking with the saab luxury seating and the 5 speed gearbox and electronic ignition makes it ideal for modern day driving.
Never been welded and does not require any as it is very solid underneath.
Reason for sale - too many saabs one must go.
All previous paperwork - receipts etc. - were mislaid/ lost when the previous owner died.
