I am selling my beautiful 1968 Jaguar 420 that I have been the proud owner of since 2020. I am only selling it due to having no garage space moving forward. I am open to sensible offers.
These cars need to be used and enjoyed. During my ownership I have driven around 9, 000 miles, this includes a trip to Cornwall in 2021, Wales in 2022 and two trips to France in 2023.
The car was imported to the UK in the 1990's from South Africa. It has featured in the Jaguar World Magazine September 2019.
The Jaguar is started weekly and drives well, I only take it out for a drive weather permitting. It has been much admired at various events. Car comes with MOT until 2025.
I have the owners manual, workshop manual, JDHT certificate and other period paperwork which I will include with the purchase.

Exterior/ Interior
• Full body respray was completed in 2011/ 2012 to Cotswold Blue. Few age related stone chips but no dents to the body work.
• In November 2021 the bodywork had rust removal to the rear offside wheel arch and the front screen surround (screen removed) costing £1, 405. 20.
• Chrome work has slight patina but not extensive.
• The wheels are MWS wire wheels and in average-good condition.
• Original light tan leather seats that have been restored in Feb 2023 for £1, 060.
• Vredestein tyres have a good amount of tread.
• Original headlining looks good.
• Carpet looks good.
