Welcome to the sale of my low mileage Mk1 Mazda MX5 in Beluga Black. Has been a fantastic Sunday car for the last 5 years, but the time has come to part with her as I have some other projects that need the garage space.
This is my third Mk1 MX5 and arguably the best; I had two 1. 6 models in the past and whilst they are fizzy and energetic, the extra power of the 1. 8 means you can make overtakes comfortably. You certainly wouldn’t think the car is 28 years old when you’re on cam!
As you can see, she’s in very good shape with just a few cosmetic blemishes. The passenger window regulator needs attention, and I would recommend undersealing if you plan on keeping her outdoors.
My car has been treated to a few subtle enhancements over the years; I swapped the vinyl roof for a mohair, which is far superior. The wheels are taken from a Eunos and were painted in Graphite. I also upgraded the exhaust to one which is a little more sonorous without being too boomy. Comes with a Momo steering wheel and full leather interior. There is a Kenwood stereo in place of the factory model.
I have extensive service history including the service book, and a plethora of receipts for work carried out. I have had all my services carried out by a trusted mechanic who looks after my other classics. She is ready to drive away!
MOT runs until March 2025, and I will be putting the car on a SORN from October 1st ready for winter hibernation
