Description
We have owned the car since 2019 and maintained it to a high standard with a full and regular maintenance / service history.
The vehicle has a current MOT until 27. 02. 2025 with one minor advisory relating to a rear indicator lense. Overall the cars bodywork is in immaculate condition and the mechanically in very good condition too. The leather interior is also in very good condition and has been cleaned and maintained with premium leather treatments. There is one minor bit of damage to the drivers seat side bolster, a small hole in the leather, that was there when we purchased the car.
The paintwork has been fully clay bared polished and sealed, probably the best aspect of the car.
It drives very well with no knocks squeaks or rattles and definitely not like a 23 year old vehicle.
The reason for the sale is the car belonged to my late father who adored this vehicle. I'm keen to find another BMW enthusiast who will also love it and look after it. My father purchased this vehicle after his previous 528 developed a terminal engine fault. It was offered for sale by the BMW specialist who maintained his previous car, and once seen had to be purchased. Since my father passed away, I have maintained the vehicle in the same way and used it regularly. I often get stopped by people who want to look at the car and who are enthusiastic about a classic BMW but in particular what a stunning looking vehicle this is.
The e39 shape is admired by many enthuiasts who often comment it is the best shape 5 series BMW ever made, it is only because my own car is also a classic that I'm selling and not keeping the vehicle for myself.
