Description
This is my personal CL 450 K5, 1972. Imported from California in 2019, this completely unrestored, survivor CL 450 boasts only 7, 000 miles from new. Every single item on the bike (except for the addition of fuel filters) is completely original and as found when it left the Hamamatsu assembly line in Japan.
The bike benefits from recent major service including new front and rear tires (Dunlop K70), new battery, oil service, spark plugs, carburetor tuning and exterior detail. The engine, non-rebuilt, pulls strong to high revs with equal compression in both cylinders and correct valve timing and clearances. The exhaust system is completely original with very slight patina showing. The bike has been garaged its whole life, and was recently recomissioned and regularly ridden during weekends.
