Description
If you're reading this advert then you've stumbled across an absolute gem of an Z3M Roadster which has been in my personal collection for around a year but previously belonged to an acquaintance for well over 20 years and before that was owned by a good friend of his. Throughout this cars life it has always been dry stored although I'm told it only got wet once in 2007 ! It is about as original an example as you are ever likely to find and has never been driven in anger so the engine and gearbox are still super tight just as you would expect with the minimal mileage it has covered. The leather seats only show the most minimal signs of use and everything works as it should. Other than some inevitable stone chips the paintwork is in excellent condition with no areas of any concern to report. There are a few curb rash marks on a couple of the alloys but they are totally original and unpainted. There are a couple of rub marks on the original roof but again it is in great shape and totally waterproof. I am being super critical in my description and I'm confident that any prospective buyer will struggle to find a better example. Original service history was with BMW but the previous owner became despondent with the service he was receiving and being an engineer decided to continue with his own interim maintenance and regular oil changes despite covering minimal miles between MOT's. In fact If you check out the historic MOT’s on the DVLA website you will see that the car has covered less than 4000 miles in the past 17 years !!
In the past 200 miles I have yet again carried out an oil service, replaced all 6 Spark plugs and fitted a new Battery. It comes with all the keys, service book, handbooks, lots of bills, Old MOT's and tax discs and the only thing this car now needs is a new owner. I could write so much more about this cars rarity, condition, investment potential etc but would rather put the kettle on and let any prospective buyer make up their own mind as to its condition. Serious enquiries are welcome to come and view but tyre kickers and dreamers will be actively discouraged. I’m only selling as I have covered less than 400 miles in the past year and would like to buy something that I will use on a much more frequent basis so if you have something big engined, quirky or unusual that you’d like to potentially P/ X then I might possibly be interested. I bought this car as I knew the owner and therefore its provenance and was looking for a completely original, unrestored and unmolested example. The fact this vehicle had been kept in dry storage all of its life was also a crucial deciding factor.
