Description
Fully custom Ford F350 - one off build.
I bought it from a USA military base, Lakenheath in 2014 as a standard slim body XL truck. Where to start with the amount of customisation on this Machine. I paid £8500 for the truck and I spent upwards of £30, 000 to achieve this look.
I started with a vision of building a completely unique F350 in this country. It sits on custom built to fit the Ford F350 24" 10 lug arctic rims front to back at a cost of £10, 000. Single wheel front & twin wheel rear, wide body dually conversion at £5000. Custom front bumper, taking the original and lengthening it significantly to give the awesome dropped front look. £2000
All new headlights, taillights, roof lights & LED daytime running light retrofitted £1700
Brand new 3" lowering kit fitted 1 year ago £2500
Full custom twin side exhaust with switch operated exhaust valves with 3 modes. (Quiet, middle and FUUUK, n Loud). £3000
Custom rear bumper drop plus workable tow hitch £900
Custom beer tap shifter (removeable)
Custom built truck mirrors to suit the wider rear end £500
Custom spanner door handles as originals were plastic and they lift up rather than pull out so they were always being snapped by people getting in the truck, so not any longer.
The bodywork has been true to the life the truck led prior to my ownership in the US military. It has seen lots of action with various dings, dents and scrapes but this adds to the character. I decided to preserve all of this using a custom paint job in a tough black raptor finish.
As expected with an old truck, there is wear and tear (character) both inside and out. In recent months the odometer display has started to deteriorate, the mileage is the approx 85k. With previous MOT's (during my ownership) showing:
2014 - 71k
2015 73k
2018 - 80k
2023 - 80k
June 2024 - Unknown (due to odometer issue)
12 months MOT
This was built for a 3000-mile European promotional trip in April 2023 and didn't skip a beat.
Recently used to tow a trailer and vehicle around the UK for promotional purposes and continues to be a very reliable truck.
This is a 1 of 1 build, and not for show and shine competitions. Purely for hard, rugged, bearded, tattooed, beer drinking, Harley Davidson riding kind of warrior of a man. Not for the faint hearted, she's a big girl.
If you ever wanted to turn heads in life, now's your chance.
