Dodge Coronet 2 door Lancer Coupe. Engine 325 cu in Red Ram Chrysler Hemi head type V8 with Torqueflite push button automatic transmission. All numbers match. Overall very good condition but has had little use in recent years so there will be a certain amount of recommissioning work to do, please telephone me to discuss. Long term ownership since 1996. Previous owner and first UK owner imported car from the states. Owners instruction manual and service repair manual present. Front bench seat reupholstered in 2005 with original fabric from the states at great expense. I understand that 1957 was the last year that the large rear fins existed, later years the fins were toned down. Has always been garaged since 1996. I am a private seller and cannot take your current car in part exchange. First UK owner imported car from Miami in 1989 and has lived in Dorset / Somerset ever since. Import documents present. Believed to have been owned by the same family in the states from new.
The Dodge has been pictured in several motoring magazines and books, was also featured in the HTV series "A Joy to Drive". It has also been an exhibit at Haynes Motor Museum, Sparkford near Yeovil for 2 years.
