Saab 96 Sport Race Car 1965 Chassis No. 349678, Reg BJK 647D.
It is an ex Chris Partington race car and is well-known in racing circles and by Saab enthusiasts alike.
FIA Appendix K with minimal preparation and is eligible for a host of interesting motorsport events. It has had around £100K spent on development.

The engine is a two stroke triple Group II engine and has been developed by Swedish guru Niklas Evander. It is fitted with Cegway flat top pistons, modified for reed valve application (higher skirt), GT crankshaft by Alba bearings and twin Peirburg fuel pumps. Also, Sonett carbs with reed valves, fully mappable ignition by Interspan and modified XP racing exhaust (dyno tested - producing around 101BHP at the front wheels with excellent reliability).
The drivetrain is a Spec II gear ratio cluster and 7:40 CW&P. Salisbury LSD.
The shell has been completely stripped to bare metal, dipped by Surface Processing, rebuilt and strengthened as per the works Saab Race & Rally preparation. It also includes strengthened suspension mounts front and back, extra ribbing & support in many critical places. Fitted bolt-in Safety Devices cage, Sparco seat and Rally Racing harness.
The suspension was developed by Jon Slenzak of S1 Supensions and then perfected by Mardi Gras motorsport. Sport 4 stud hubs, brakes and drive train with Koni dampers and race springs. This Saab has revised geometry to eliminate as much understeer as possible.
There is a large spares package to include racing and tuning notes, 4 x EMS 5" football style/ type wheels fitted with standard road tyres, 8 x original Ronal 5. 5" wheels of which 5 are fitted with Dunlop CR65-204 race tyres. The car is currently road legal and hold a V5 document. It no longer needs a UK MOT certificate due to its age.
