1925 Amilcar CGS
Dating letter from UK Amilcar Salmson Register confirming the car as an original CGS3 Grand Sport produced by the factory between 1924 and 1926 and placing the date of manufacture of this car (based on the serial numbers) as mid 1925.
Engine Number 136 (3CGS identifying it as a 2nd series 7hp pressure fed engine) Fitted with the desirable Cozette Ricardo cylinder head and the correct Grand Sport higher capacity sump.

Full history of owners since 1927.
Lived most it’s life in Spain, rebodied in the 1970s, sold to Belgium in 1980 and imported to the UK in 2006.
The car is UK registered (V5C registration document). The car is running and driving well although is currently in storage.
New high torque starter motor (wosp Performance), magneto and carb professionally rebuilt, recent new dynamo, kingpins, track rod ends and rebuilt rear shock absorbers. Radiator recently re-cored also. All original instruments / Marchal headlamps in lovely condition.
