Triumph Herald 1200, 1966 renovation project, spare parts or donor car.
This car has been dry stored in a barn since 1975 and had only covered 34, 000 miles before being laid up, last serviced in 1974 at 19, 914 miles, and is still on its original tyres.
Obviously the engine hasn’t run in decades but the engine turns freely by hand.
As can be seen in the images the body and chassis is generally good for a 58 year old Triumph, it’s never been restored and is still in original paint which is very rare.
The door frames are solid and the inner wheel arches are still in the original body paint, no under seal, no filler so nothing covered it’s all there to see.
At some point someone decided to remove some of the chrome the reason this for this is unknown and what’s been removed is missing, however I do have the sills, rear side valences and the radiator grill which all just bolt in place so other than that what you see is what you get.
