Description
Bradbury, 1911 550cc single, With a 2 speed crankshaft gear.
Bought in a derelict condition, so been putting it together as a dry rebuild, Wheels are finished, Nickel plated new rims & hubs with Dunlop Tyres, Leather tool box remade to original pattern. Front forks are done, with new laser cut links, engine reassembled, new mudguards & stays to pattern, Every thing I have done has been exacting to the 1911 modern, apart from the rear brake pedal, which is a new casting to 1912 standard, as the 1911 pedal was thin, fragile & broke, which I still have half of one, Remade pedals, very rare, new chainwheel, freewheel & chain, new fork springs & many other parts, to many to list.
Things to do : Fit pedal cranks & shaft, tank needs attention, Mag has no spark & fit Belt, & other odds & sods,
FY407 is a very historic Bradbury number, in 1911 Hugh Gibson with sidecar passenger George Wray, did the Lands end to John o'groats also the Irish end to end, runs are well documented, for which I have the reports. Sadly not on this bike, Any questions, please contact me,
The registration number was issued in Southport in 1905, & is transferable, valued at £3500. 00 net.
Loads of paper work go with the bike, V5 in my name,
