Description
1969 Triumph TR6. CP. 150 bhp, Fuel Injection. 4 speed with O/ D on 2nd, 3rd & 4th gears. This car is an unusually fine example of an early TR6.
Fitted Hitachi p/ b radio/ cassette, Danita 40 channel 2 way CB radio, electric cooling fan, hood cover, full tonneau cover, steering lock, it comes with extensive history documentation & photos, including magazine rebuild article, Heritage Certificate, works manuals and full service history. Good battery and tyres. Recent service and MOT.
Also included is the ‘5979 TR’ Registration Plate, itself recently valued at £1750. I bought this car, my fifth TR, for it’s outstanding condition in 1996, a few years after a mechanic owner completed a full, chassis up, body and engine rebuild to original spec, but with all new body panels, as featured in a Classic Car magazine article. Always garaged, with only dry summer use, there is no body rust, the paintwork is unblemished, and overall, it is still in excellent original condition. Carefully maintained, with multiple replacement parts during my 28 years ownership, it still runs beautifully, and I shall be sad to part with it.
