Description
For sale is my 2001 Jaguar XJR. I am the fifth owner, and I bought it from a Car and Classic auction early last year.
It has a full service history, and a folder of invoices. It has a clean MOT for the past year. I have recently had the engine tensioners, chains and collets replaced, as well as the valve stem oil seals.
I have spent around £10k on various services and repairs over the past year, including a transmission service, new tyres and new lambda sensors, so mechanically she is in good fettle. Some bodywork panels are showing their age, and may benefit from remedial work. I have tried to show on the photos some shots of this (it's on the drivers side). Otherwise, I'm told by my mechanic that its solid underneath, and I've had it waxoyled and undersealed last year. It's a supercharged Jag, which has so much power when you want it, but otherwise wafts about in great comfort. You bet a lot of comments and people wanting to ask questions about it, and I shall be sad to see it go, but I need a more economical car and a 4l V8 is not that. We took it down to Devon this summer, and it isn't miss a beat.
