Lotus Elan S3 S/ E Coupe 1966 pre airflow. Recent full restoration on galvanised chassis which has been refinished in correct red for period look. Original body, engine, gearbox etc. The car has all the Special Equipment fittings and is original except for non retracting seatbelts and c/ v driveshafts. The original donut shafts come with the car. Engine fully rebuilt to near Sprint spec with big valve head.
Resprayed Lotus Regency Red believed to be special order before this became an original Lotus colour. New carpets, headlining together with excellent seats. Dashboard reveneered to original finish. New wiring loom fitted.
The car will need running in plus any final adjustments.
An immaculate Elan with interesting history first owner being MD of Mike Spence Cars originators of the BRM Elans and Lotus Dealers.
He later emigrated to the USA and took the car with him. Recently repatriated and now restored with V5.
