FORD EXPLORER ADVANCETRAC RSC LIMITED EDITION
Time has come for me to pass on my "truck" as her indoors calls it.
Really will miss it.
I purchased this lovely 2005 truck in April 22. I am the first UK registered keeper. It was a dry state Texas car that the original first owner had shipped over here in 2021 with his job. So I am the second only owner. Hopefully the pictures show all the good bits and the small amount of not so good but bearable bits.
The paint is actually a pearl finish that pops in the sun as the kids say... I call it metallic hearing aid beige.
Not long after getting it I put four new Goodyear Wrangler tyres on it. They still have plenty of tread on them
I have looked after it / oil changed once a year etc.
Being the Sportrac edition it is rear wheel drive only so no complicated transfer box or front axle to worry about. So it drives very car like especially as it has RSC or Roll Stability Control which makes it really comfy to be in.
The aircon is icy cold if needed.
The car has a few minor blemishes here and there and some fair wear and tear for a 2005 vehicle. But generally is well presented. The cruise control has not worked in my ownership and have not needed it really. There is a TPS fault and a new TPSensor was fitted prior to my purchasing it but alas it still shows fault but I've never chased this up. The 4. 6L V8 engine is quiet/ powerful and has good oil pressure and steady temperature, the gearbox shifts smoothly.
Just for Info, The flat load space in the back with the seats down actually fits a standard double air mattress, we have comfortably overnited in it once at Santa Pod.
Summing up I have enjoyed owning the truck, Safe, reliable, comfortable, Fun at times and solid.

The current mileage is 72, 000 and rising very slowly as it is my daily driver, the MOT runs till April 25.
I have priced this car to sell. But am willing to take a close reasonable offer on it.............
